To use this app, simply enter your ECF rating code and select the time controls you want to graph. You can also choose the timescale in months. The timescale is how many of the last months' ratings will be plotted. Once you have entered all the information, click the "Go" button to generate the graph.
When, the go button is pressed, the software first validates that the inputs are valid, i.e. you have entered things that make sense.
Then, the software uses the timescale to send a bunch of requests to the ECF's rating database to get the ratings for the selected time controls for the last X months.
Once the server has sent back all the data, the software simply does some code to put the data on a graph.
